Installation Tips
- Cut pipe square, then deburr inside & outside; ensure the tube is round
- Slide nut then olive onto the pipe and seat the pipe fully into the fitting
- Tighten by hand, then nip up with spanners — don’t overtighten
- Re-check and re-nip after the first heating cycle on sealed systems

What it is
A 15mm compression coupler (CxC) joins two lengths of 15mm copper tube in a straight line, without soldering.

Common questions
Does it fit standard 15mm copper pipe?
Yes — it’s designed for 15mm copper tube (soft or half-hard).
Do I need PTFE tape?
Not usually. Compression fittings seal on the olive. If you use anything, keep it minimal and avoid putting tape on the olive seating area.
Can I reuse it?
Yes. You can disassemble and re-make the joint, but olives can deform — replace the olive if it’s damaged or won’t reseal.
Is it suitable for heating systems?
Yes — suitable for hot & cold water and sealed heating systems when installed correctly.
How tight should I do it up?
Tighten by hand until snug, then nip up with spanners. Avoid overtightening. Check for leaks after pressurising and re-check after the first heat cycle.
Quick installation tips
- Cut the pipe square and deburr inside & outside.
- Make sure the pipe end is round and fully inserted into the fitting.
- Hold the fitting body with one spanner while tightening the nut with the other.
