Delivery of Products from Our Online Shop

All products advertised are brand-new (unless otherwise specified) and exclude UK VAT, which will be automatically added to the total purchase cost (including products and delivery) at checkout/request for payment.

For plastic tanks (oil, diesel, and waste), the purchase price includes delivery within the mainland UK, excluding the Scottish Highlands and surrounding islands. If you have any questions, please contact us for further information or a tailored delivery quote.

Other listed products offer various delivery options, ranging from standard 2-3 day delivery to next day delivery before 12:00 hrs.

We only dispatch products from our online shop to addresses within the UK. If you are located outside the UK, please reach out for a tailored delivery quote.

All items will be delivered by a carrier requiring a signature. Heavy items such as tanks will be delivered by an articulated lorry, so suitable access to the delivery address is essential. The customer is responsible for off-loading these heavy items. Adequate equipment should be available at the delivery location for off-loading, or an off-load service should be arranged prior to checkout.

We make every effort to monitor our stock levels; if a product is out of stock, it cannot be purchased. However, occasional errors may occur, and we will inform you if this happens.


Carriage Charges

The buyer agrees to pay all carriage costs as indicated in the shopping cart. Some product delivery charges may be included in the purchase price, while others will carry a separate postage cost. All carriage charges are clearly displayed during the checkout process.


Cancellation of Order

In accordance with UK and EU consumer law, you have fourteen (14) days from the receipt of your order to cancel it, either partially or fully, provided that the goods remain in a re-saleable condition.

If you wish to cancel any part or the entirety of your order, please contact us first to obtain the appropriate returns authorisation. Once the return authorisation is issued, we will provide you with a return code so you can arrange for the collection of your goods, which will be at your expense. All returns are subject to a minimum 20% restocking fee.


Defective Products

If you believe that any products purchased from Oil Tank Warehouse are defective, please report this to us immediately. If they are or become defective within the manufacturer’s guarantee period, we will coordinate with the manufacturer to repair or replace the goods as deemed appropriate. The standard guarantee is generally for a period of 12 months from the date of delivery or invoice, whichever is earlier, except for hoses and hand pumps, which come with a limited 3-month warranty.

If an on-site inspection of the goods is required and it is determined that there is no fault on the part of the manufacturer or Oil Tank Warehouse, an inspection charge will apply.

Where guarantees exceed those mandated by law, these are offered at the discretion of the product manufacturer and not Oil Tank Warehouse.

In general, Oil Tank Warehouse will not be liable for any claims for consequential damage or loss, as the manufacture or carriage of all products is beyond our control.


Installation Requirements

To minimize the risk of oil leaks, there are statutory requirements that tanks or appliances used for storing and accessing oils must be installed by a suitably competent person, in accordance with the manufacturer’s installation and maintenance instructions.

If electrical connections are necessary for the installation, they must be performed by a qualified electrician.

Improper installation or installation by an unqualified individual could invalidate any warranties associated with a product.

If installation is required, we strongly recommend that arrangements with a third party not be made until the products have been received. While we aim to provide realistic delivery dates, delays can occur due to factors beyond our control (such as weather or traffic), and we cannot be held liable for additional installation charges resulting from delays in receiving ordered products.
